Diaspora News is a Russian-language online media outlet dedicated to covering the life of immigrants in the United States and abroad. The website diasporanews.com was launched in 2006 as the digital extension of the printed newspaper “Diaspora”, which has been in continuous publication since 1998.
The project was founded by David Ponomar and has grown into a trusted media platform connecting Russian-speaking communities across the United States, as well as in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and beyond.
Our editorial office is based in Sacramento, California, but our audience extends nationwide and includes readers from the global diaspora.
